About:
Field Jacket in Tela Stella, the fabric on which Stone Island was founded in 1982. The inspiration for Tela Stella was drawn from the study of the technical and functional characteristics of military truck tarpaulins. This cotton canvas is impregnated on both sides with special pigmented resins in contrasting colours. The finished garment then undergoes an extended enzyme wash in order to give it a faded look and to break down the density of the material. The result is a windproof garment that has an air of old oilskins corroded by the sea, which, at the same time, has a marked military feel.
Two flap pockets with snap fastening and two bellows pockets with flap and snap fastening on the chest, one of which has a zip-fastening pocket on top. Foldaway hood in raised collar with snap fastening. Epaulettes. Inner drawstring at waist. Hidden zip and button fastening.
